To help foster diversity and inclusion, several employee resource groups at the university provide networks of support for faculty and staff.

Committee for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Concerns

We are a dedicated group of faculty and staff members who come together to ensure a university environment that empowers lesbian, gay, bi-/pan-sexual, trans*, queer, asexual, and allied (LGBTQA+) people.

Faculty & Staff Accessibility Resource Group

We are a group of people with various disabilities and conditions that affect how we do our jobs and how we live our lives as a part of the community at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln as well as the city of Lincoln and the state of Nebraska. We also count among our members people without disabilities who have worked in the disability arena and bring a wealth of experience regarding working at the university.

Our group seeks to advocate for an inclusive campus and foster personal and professional growth for our members. Our members are entry- to mid-level staff and faculty at Nebraska.
