Collective Impact Sponsorship
On March 28, 2023 from 12:15-5 PM, The Office of Diversity and Inclusion is hosting a mini-conference for the more than 300+ Inclusive Excellence champions across campus. The event will include an engaging plenary session, eight concurrent professional development and wellbeing breakout sessions, and time for building connections. The purpose of the event is to celebrate and make visible the wide variety of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts at UNL, to help build relationships between people doing DEI work, and to support the professional development and well-being of those who pursue this work across campus. We estimate 200-250 people will attend the program.
We are in search of co-sponsorship to 1) help support the cost of the program, and 2) present a broad message of support for D&I champions across campus.
Sponsorship Options
Wellness or Professional Development Breakout Session Sponsorship:
During the conference we will hold eight concurrent wellness and professional development sessions. Each of the sessions will last 45 minutes and run twice. Topics might include, but are not limited to: career planning, time management, meditation, supportive supervision, creating community, self-care.
Option 1: Identify and support a person from your unit who is a good candidate to run one of the eight breakout sessions. That UNL employee’s time because your sponsorship contribution.
Option 2: Provide funding for a specific breakout session by identifying a potential session topic and an external facilitator. Your unit compensates the person for their time, but we will coordinate with that external facilitator.
For each of these options the unit will be acknowledged (using the unit lock-up) as a session sponsor on the program website, digital signage during the plenary program, and during the breakout session. The office may also choose to provide additional information or give aways at their sponsored session.
Financial Sponsorship:
General financial sponsorship will be used to support costs for the program including refreshments, printing needs, and etc. Our levels are intended to create widespread sponsorship to show support for the work.
- $500 sponsorship - the unit will be acknowledged (using the unit lock-up) on the program website, and digital signage during the plenary program. Sponsor will also be verbally acknowledged during the plenary session and the reception.
- $250 sponsorship - the unit will be acknowledged (using the unit lock-up) on the program website, and digital signage during the plenary program.
- $100 sponsorship – The unit will be listed as a collaborative partner on the website, and on digital signage during the program.
